"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,"
The Scriptures are full of young people who loved the Lord and sought to follow him (1 Sam. 2 & 3, 1 Sam. 16; 2 Kings 22; Luke 1 & 2). They were instructed in the faith (2 Tim. 3:14-17), mentored by others (Titus 2), and were connected to the people of God for ministry (Eph. 4:11-16). We want to help the youth at Grace to do the same. On Wednesday nights, after the fellowship meal, from 7:00-7:45, we have a time of teaching from the Scriptures. Once a month, following the evening worship service, from 7:30-9:00, our young people gather in a nearby home for fellowship, singing, and instruction. During the summer time there are guys and girls studies, which provide training and mentoring. Additionally, throughout the year there are opportunities for service to those in the church and outside of it—VBS, mission trips to Peru, and local service projects.
